Distribution network is an essential part of electric power system, which however has higher losses than transmission system. directly affect the operational cost Therefore, loss reduction in distribution very important for system users and connected customers. One commonly used ways reducing reconfiguration (DSR). In this process, configuration changes by opening closing sectional tie switches order to achieve lowest level losses, while maintain its radial nodal voltage limits, supply all loads. The DSR aiming a complex mixed-integer optimization problem with quadratic term objective function set linear non-linear constraints. Accordingly, researchers have dedicated their efforts developing efficient models methodologies find optimal solutions via DSR. paper, mathematical model minimization considering profile presented. can be solved commercially available solvers. proposed applied several test systems real networks showing high efficiency effectiveness reconfiguration.
